Club beginning

LA PLACA LEMC colors are Black and Gray.

The color Black is associated with Power, Strength, and Authority as well as grief and mourning.

The color Black is worn to represent the authority of Law Enforcement and the Power and Strength of our Brotherhood within our Club and the grief we share for our Fallen Brothers in Law Enforcement.

The color Gray has many meanings and is associated with Trustworthiness, Dignity, and Protection.

The color Gray is worn to represent Trustworthiness and Loyalty to our Brothers and our Club, our pride, and dignity to our Club and the protection of our Brothers. 

The patch at the top of the vest is called the "Top Rocker" and contains the name of the Club, La Placa.

The name "LA PLACA" means The Badge or The Shield depending on translation. Which represents a symbol of Law Enforcement and perhaps the most visible and recognizable symbol of policing around the world. It's seen by many as a sign of authority, sacrifice, and service.

The center patch is the shape of a Law Enforcement badge and contains these images on the inside of the badge.

An eagle which is the symbol of the United States.

Clinched in the talons of the eagle is a banner with the Spanish words "Con Respeto" which means "With Respect."

The United States flag flies from left to right at the center of the patch. It stands for valor, purity, innocence, vigilance, perseverance, and justice.

The Scales of Justice which relate to fairness in the judicial process. They indicate that each side of a case will be considered in a balanced process.

On either side of the Scales of Justice are tools of the trade of Law Enforcement. A set of crossed handguns on the left and handcuffs on the right. 

On the right side of the center patch are the letters MC which stand for Motorcycle Club.

On the left side of the center patch are the letters LE which stand for Law Enforcement.

The patch at the bottom of the vest is called the "Bottom Rocker" and contains the location of the Club, Texas.
